We've been following The Vapor Caves since their debut LP dropped in 2019 featuring the perfect blend of beatmaker modern funk and boogie soul vocals. I guess it makes sense the Austin TX duo is venturing out and working with the Star Creature / Tugboat Team. For their first go, the duo get into familiar territory and take the classic Messages From The Stars from a hand written letter to a telepathically communicated email videogram. There's a lot of life left on this jam and a whole new post-pandemic generation of clubbers and party-goers and what better way to introduce them to this classic track.

When it comes to Boogie Music, outside of Southern California, the first place that comes to most head's minds is France. French collectors have been bullish on the Boogie for decades now and have spawned some of the best sounds in the genre of recent years with artists like Dabeull, Holybrune, Rude Jude, Mofak, Doggmaster and now Frankfurt Funk & Voyear. 2 cuts here of vintage meets future synth funk with the French Touch.
